Organic Kombucha

Refreshing probiotic tea

I was surprised.

Generally the only food that has a big effect on me is cheese, and even then the result is nightmarish dreams when I eat it too late at night.

But my colleague told me she drank this ‘living tea’ and felt completely revitalised.

Kombucha is called a living tea because the tea is allowed to ferment into a brew containing probiotics and antioxidants (great for digestion and immunity). It also contains glucosamines (useful in treating arthritis) and glucaric acid (helpful in cleansing the liver and fighting disease).

Apparently, in the Eastern world, Kombucha is considered to be a very powerful drink for fighting degenerative disease. Samurai warriors would drink it for energy before riding into battle.

Equinox Kombucha make an organic green tea version in four flavours:
Green Tea Raspberry Leaf & Elderflower
Green Tea & Ginger
Green Tea & Wild Berry
Green Tea Original
